At Hoi An restaurant, our aim is to prepare dishes that will take you on a journey, a mix of local and Asian, more specifically Vietnamese. The dishes are a subtle blend of Vietnamese flavours with a local influence, a harmony between two worlds that are those of our founder, Maria-Xuan, who is of Swiss and Vietnamese origin. In fact, this culinary adventure is the story of a boy born near Hoi An in the 1950s, his father. He landed in Switzerland and started a family with his Swiss wife. But he never forgot his roots, and the taste of Nuoc Mam. For Maria-Xuan, this restaurant is her way of honouring her family heritage through a personal reinterpretation of Vietnamese street food.
